Azalea window Garden

This page will be dedicated to photos of all my indoor arrangements using only garden and windowsill flowers. All of them will be uploaded to my pinterest board, but will remain on the blog as well. I hope you will find some inspiration and motivation to see what you may be growing  and pop a few flowers in a vase or two. There is nothing like flowers to perk you up,( except maybe a good cup of coffee) and especially in the gray and cold of winter they are a real joy!DSC_0153DSC_0012

Feb 9,2015: a really tough day to get inspired to make a flower arrangement… we are in the middle of yet ANOTHER storm, this one going over 2 days and bringing 14 + more inches to add to the already significant piles. I also used up so many of my forced branches, and the apples and cherries I cut when I ventured out are not blooming yet. Oh Well….. props to the rescue!  I put some azalea ( that blooms hot pink but when forced is very ,very pale pink) hellebores, a sprig of lavender and foliage from  a few scented geraniums into a little bulb forcing vase I placed inside an ornamental birdcage. Not the most dramatic entry, but sorta sweet.IMG_0640IMG_0632 IMG_0637DSC_0273 629620802 DSC_0001 (2) DSC_0002 (2) DSC_0002 DSC_0003 (2) DSC_0005 (2) DSC_0007 (2) DSC_0007 (3) DSC_0007 DSC_0009 (2) DSC_0014 (2) DSC_0016 (3) DSC_0018 DSC_0023 (2) DSC_0028 IMG_0654DSC_0008sept 14celosia, coleus zinnia grassDSC_0006 DSC_0008 DSC_0005 DSC_0010 DSC_0019 DSC_0024
